Pat Goffe has been inspiring and motivating students for more than two decades in and out of the classroom. She is a graduate of St. Thomas University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a specialization in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Special Education.

Pat has received recognition for her many contributions in education. In 2005, she received recognition for pioneering the first Black History Program at William A. Kirlew Junior Academy, which generated $20,000 within the first year! In 2016, she received the Teacher of the Year Award from Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. In 2018, she was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Alumni Awards Foundation.

Pat is passionate about her purpose. She is equally passionate about faith-based programs. She has been helping children in her church build a solid foundation with God as a youth and children’s ministry leader. She hosts workshops, performs skits, creates innovative programs and conducts leadership training.

She sponsors numerous workshops and seminars annually and has partnered with several nonprofit organizations, assisting them with their educational component to become effective in the community they serve.

Pat’s love for storytelling prompted her to take a leap of faith and become a published author. She is a member of the Florida Writers Association. She is grateful for the outpouring of support she receives from her husband, Errol Goffe, and their four kids, Kegan, Kimaya, Kirsten and Kai Goffe.

Through her writing, Pat instills confidence in youth, and hopes to counteract negativity that they are often bombarded with on a day-to-day basis. She believes that words are POWERFUL and she wants her words to count in big and positive ways.
